Two Summer Tours

Imagine a week in Provence in the perfect season! Our villa is on a lavender farm— we will be surrounded by lavender fields in bloom and have our own private lavender experiences - harvesting & crafting. This first week of July is the heart of lavender season right before they begin cutting! And of course….there will be rosé ALL day! Bienvenue en Provence in summer.

Join a group of 6 guests to experience 7nights/6 days of touring in an air-conditioned chauffeured van. We will stroll 16th century villages, tour local wineries, shop the open-air markets, enjoy picnic and café lunches and even a take trip to the Mediterranean Sea. We will (of course) pick lavender and see how essential oils are made, take pictures in fields of sunflowers, experience art, do organic local, wine and olive oil tastings, visit Provencal markets and wind in art galleries and boutiques! Bien sur, we will dine on the farm-fresh Provencal cuisine. I will share the history of the area and offer lots of local insights on living in France. Each evening, enjoy a glass of local rosé poolside while watching the sunset. Yes, we have a few nights out at magical restaurants and even an evening with a Michelin star* chef! It’s an insider’s tour to see all my favorite places - many that are less traveled, but also will include many of the famous sites you’ve been dreaming to visit.

7 nights/6 touring days

• $4800 early bird special (before Dec 31) $5000 after Jan 1 (price per person)

• Our own private villa / Rooms are single or double (your preference)

• All inclusive (includes: lodging, arrival/departure transport, all day touring, visit fees (wine, art, tastings), experiences created for our group (maybe a private chateau, pottery, crafts, lavender harvest, truffles…and more), all meals including breakfast at our villa, café or picnics at lunch and restaurants or dining several nights at our home, picnics — wine too!! )

• Touring in an airconditioned chauffered van

• Each day is regionally focused to keep touring time reasonable. Site seeing and relaxation and endless Pinch Me Provence moments.

• Other options could include: cooking class during our week or yoga classes around the pool, massages, watercolour class en plein air, kayaking, hiking, horseback riding, renting bikes. Depending on the group some such experiences may be included or some may be a supplement. I customize our itineraries!

• Suggest early arrival: Arrive in France a day early to beat jet lag. Try Avignon or Aix en Provence to enjoy a city experience on your day zero…then come to the villa a bit more rested and ready to begin touring next day with our small group. (Early arrival not included in trip fee but highly advised. We can discuss!!)

The Women and wine of provence tour in fall

This Pinch-Me tour is so unique! We will gather at wine harvest time in Provence as the tourist season calms a bit and the weather is still warm and sunny! Join a group of 6 guests to experience 7 nights/6 days of touring Provence at this magical harvest time of year. Searching for a villa surrounded by vineyards for a magical harvest experience (I cant even!!). We will tour each day and stroll 16 century villages, enjoy café and picnic lunches, and even take a trip to the Mediterranean Sea. Theme for the week: Wine and the women who carry-on the traditions of Provence will be woven into each day. You will learn about Provence from the women who are preserving and sharing centuries old traditions in pottery, soap making, wine and more. We will meet with women winemakers and local farmers who bring the field to our table. We’ll share tasting experiences of local, organic wines, olive oil and goat cheese.

Imagine an evening harvesting grapes and then climbing into an old oak barrel and doing a grape stomp! I will share the history of the area and offer lots of local insights on living in France. We’ll shop at farms and open air markets and prepare a meal together if you like. Each evening, enjoy a glass of local wine poolside while watching the sunset. Yes, we have a few nights out at magical restaurants and even an evening with a Michelin star* chef!
