Bonjour, I am Lori Howard, an American bilingual travel enthusiast, who followed my heart to Provence — where I live with my French husband in the center of the Luberon. Since moving to Provence in 2015, I am overjoyed by my simple day-to-day tasks and excursions that are each a magical moment. My morning walk is through olive groves, truffles oaks or vineyards. My ‘grocery’ shopping involves daily markets, nearby goat farms and garden stands full of that morning’s harvest. A stop on the road side can result in a handful of rosemary and thyme..or a sac brimming with cherries or wild arugula. Every season dazzles me!
PINCH ME — I have said at least a thousand times. I can’t believe the intoxicating views, smells and tastes of Provence. It has been a joy to discover breathtaking hikes, picturesque villages, olive mills and wineries, local restaurants and off-the-beaten path chateaux and abbeys — all of which are not on the main page of every tour book.
